TLC 2010 Officially Cancelled!
The decision has been made by the TLC 2010 Committee to cancel our game slated for April 23, 24 / 2010 in support of the Abilities Centre.
We have to do this based on the lack of participants signed up to play in the game.
Thank you to everyone that did register. You will be contacted and will be refunded your entry fee to play.

A group of dedicated lacrosse players and fans will be putting the true spirit of lacrosse to the test on April 24, 2010 as yet again we organize a 30 hour Master’s Lacrosse game in support of the Abilities Center. This group raised over $30,000 in 2009 for Children’s Wish Foundation and this year we are looking to equal or better that.
Truly Lacrosse Cares is looking for players to play, referees to officiate and volunteers to help raise money for the Abilities Centre. The game will take place in Whitby, Ontario Canada at the Iroquois Park Sports Complex. It begins at 12:00pm on Friday April 23rd and will finish at 6:00pm on Saturday April 24th.
Who: TLC – Truly Lacrosse Cares is looking for over 150 players to register and collect donations for the Abilities Center and their new development.
What: Players will pay a $20.00 registration fee, and then collect pledges from colleagues and friends. Players will pick and choose the hours they are available, with a maximum of two hours playing before needing to take a break.
When: Friday April 23, and Saturday April 24, 2010. We have four hours set aside for children aged 11 – 18.
Where: Iroquois Park Sports Complex – Whitby
Why: To raise money for the Abilities Center. Our goal is to raise $30,000 through pledges and a silent auction.

I live in St. Albert, AB and would like to hold a similar event in Edmonton. Do you think someone could contact me with information that would about how I would get started. Do you think it would be possible to use the TLC brand as an Edmonton chapter or something like that. Please contact me as I am very serious about holding an event like this as we have lost a few friends of lacrosse to cancer and I would like to raise some money for that cause.
